How it works

Six steps from the first conversation to protection that stays up to date.

A typical run from the needs assessment to signing: usually 1–2 weeks, depending on the health underwriting. Your own time in it adds up to a few hours in total – I carry the rest.

All Panni and Boti noticed of the whole thing was this: there was a good conversation – and from then on the net is there beneath the family.

Needs assessment – 20 minutes

By phone or video we talk it through: who depends on your income, how big the loan is, what plans are built on it, what you already have. Free of charge, with no obligation and no preparation.

Sizing the cover

We do not set the sum assured by guesswork: we work out from the mortgage, the family's outgoings and the plans how many years of protection are needed. I assess and inform – the decision is yours.

Offers in one table

The competing offers of several insurers in one clear, shared table: sum, premium, riders, waiting periods, exclusions – with strengths and weaknesses, ready for a decision.

Health declaration

Term life insurance typically requires a health declaration, and for a larger sum a medical exam may also be needed. I help you prepare for filling it in – the declaration goes directly to the insurer.

Signing and paperwork

We fit the sum, the term and the riders to the chosen offer; the paperwork is my job. The beneficiary designation is set precisely right at signing.

Review, if warranted

A review, if your situation changes or you ask: loan shrunk, a child born, income grown? We fit the sum and the riders to your life – the cover should follow your life, not the other way round.

The details of the steps are in Insights: sizing the cover, underwriting, declaration prep, beneficiary designation, reviewing the sum.

Timeline – what happens when?

  1. Needs assessment (20 minutes) + sizing the cover – by the end you know how much protection and what structure it is worth requesting offers for.
  2. Requesting the offers and handing over the table – when the offers arrive depends on the insurers' response times; you receive the table, and I answer your questions.
  3. Health declaration and signing – I prepare the forms, you fill them in and sign; the policy starts after the insurer's underwriting. For a larger sum, a medical exam may add a few days.
  4. After signing: checking the policy document together – sum, beneficiary, riders; the family should know about the policy and where to find it.
  5. If it is warranted (or you ask): a review – the sum and your life situation, the indexation decision, the beneficiary's details. If your circumstances change, we adjust during the year too.

And what comes after signing – ongoing support

What do I ask of you in total? A 20-minute conversation, a few basic details, an honestly completed health declaration and a decision. The rest – sizing, obtaining competing offers, the table, the paperwork, keeping in touch if your situation changes – is my job. The advice is free of charge; the brokerage remuneration is paid by the insurer.

Let's talk it through in 20 minutes.

Free, with no obligation – by the end you will see your options and the next step clearly.
